Mother of Ease™ is a Black Maternal and Family Care Practice with Prenatal and Postpartum Guidance, Labor and Birth Doula Support, and Lactation Counseling Service available nationwide. Kris Elle, Black American mother of five, writer, Certified Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor®, and Founder of Mother of Ease—guides women + their kin/folk through the childbearing continuum with doula care, and offers virtual and in-person labor, birth, and early postpartum support in homes, birth centers, and hospitals across the United States. Elle curates exceptional care experiences, and consults care practitioners and systems on respectful maternity and family care practices for Black folks navigating the childbearing continuum in the U.S. She is a Mahmee Partner, BeHerVillage Partner, Novant-verified Doula, Atrium Community Doula Program Advisory Board Member, and the creator behind NBD.
