Kris is not only an extraordinary doula, she’s a deeply grounded, wise, and nurturing presence in so many areas of life. Her support meant everything to our family, and wonderfully affected us beyond childbearing—in both our personal and professional lives. She has a way of affirming your instincts, advocating for your choices, and offering steady encouragement when you need it most. Whether she’s sending affirmations, helping you navigate care decisions, or just checking in to make sure you’re okay, Kris always shows up with consideration and love. Kris has “nailed it” I like to say. She has figured out how to be supportive but not pushy. Engaging but not overwhelming. Resourceful and knowledgeable. She loves what she does. And it shows. In the weeks preceding the birth our doula was a listening ear, an advocate and an educator. She provided support and accountability. I can honestly say I engaged in healthier practices because of her referrals and recommendations. In the days leading up to the birth Kris was present and positive. I felt safe and encouraged that I could deliver “naturally” with minimal to no medical intervention as my husband and I desired. And it was so. I’ve already recommended to friends that they should look into doula services. If I had to do it all again, I would. And I would choose Kris again.

We were both stressed, I wasn't producing enough, and donor milk had run out. We did a newborn bubble, so we didn't have any family members around. We were just in the thick of it. And I was texting with Kris. She said, let's hop on a call. I went outside in our backyard and she said, take your shoes off. put your feet on the ground. look up at the sun. You know? I'll never forget that level of care and support that was totally virtual. She wasn't here to wrap her arms around me, but I felt it. I felt her spirit connecting with me through the earth. It almost seems crazy, but it was really grounding for me to know that I could just release.
